Elder Abuse
If you suspect someone is a victim of elder abuse, call the NYS Adult Protective Services Helpline at 1-844-697-3505 (8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday). For emergencies that require immediate attention, call 9-1-1.
National Maternal Mental Health Hotline
Call or text 1-833-TLC-MAMA (1-833-852-6262) for free, confidential support 24/7 in English and Spanish. Counselors can listen, connect you with local resources, and refer you to other health care professionals.
Postpartum Support International (PSI)
Call or text 1-800-944-4773 for information, resources, and support groups for women, partners, and supporters.
PSI's HelpLine is available from 8 AM–11 PM EST, but does not handle emergencies.
In an emergency, you can call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
